Bicarbonates (KH) buffer the water against pH changes. But via biological processes in the water the KH value and the pH value can change over time. Because all the life in aquariums and ponds is very sensitive to changes in the pH value a regular control method (i.e., water changes) to stabilize KH value is required.

  • 20 ml test reagent, measuring cylinder, 5ml seringe for water sampling, 1ml seringe for testing, instructions.
Precautionary Statement(s)
  • P260: Do not breathe dust/fume/gas/mist/vapors/spray.
  • P280: Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.
  • P303 + P361 + P353 IF ON SKIN (or hair): Take off Immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse SKIN with water [or shower].
  • P305 + P351 + P 338 IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do - continue rinsing.
