ReefTonic I & II is a buffer system consists of two solutions that help stabilise pH and alkalinity in the seawater aquarium. ReefTonic reliably maintains the balance between carbon dioxide and calcium, which over time will progressively reduced through metabolic processes of animals and plants that secrete acids such as carbonic acid, phosphoric acid, nitric acid and sulphuric acid.
 
ReefTonic I 
  • Helps maintain the optimum pH of between 7.8 to 8.4. This solution should be used when the alkalinity or the buffer reserve falls below 7.8 dKH (German scale) in the morning. ReefTonic 1 can also be used to fi x lipids from food, which will enable a more effective removal by a skimmer.
Instructions :
  • ReefTonic 1, 5 ml per 100 litres of aquarium water every day.
  • The solution must be added drop by drop to the fl ow of current.
  • Like all chemical products, it must be kept out of reach of children.
 
ReefTonic II 
  • Helps maintain optimum calcium level, between 380 and 420 mg/l in reef aquarium. ReefTonic 2 is an important calcium solution like Kalkwasser, but should not be used exclusively. This is because Kalkwasser is much more effi cient at precipitating phosphates.
Instructions
    • ReefTonic 2, 5 ml per 100 litres of seawater every day, when the calcium level falls below 380 mg/l.
    • ReefTonic 2 can be added to the aquarium after Reef Tonic 1, but not both simultaneously.
    • Like all chemical products, it must be kept out of reach of children.
